1. Who we are
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the ptahworks.com website and the Viklia mobile application (together, the “Service”). The Service is provided by PTAH LLC (“PTAH” MCHJ), a company registered in the Republic of Uzbekistan at Xiyobon ko'chasi, 65, Pichoqchi MFY, Margilan, Fergana Region, 151100, Uzbekistan (“PTAH”, “we”, “us”).
By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is
Viklia is a nutrition diary. It helps you log meals — including by photo recognition — see estimated nutritional values of what you eat, and track how meals feel through hunger and satiety ratings and notes. Nutritional values are estimates based on food-composition databases and automated recognition; they may be inaccurate, and you can always correct them.
3. Not a medical device
Viklia is not a medical device and does not replace professional care. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Nothing in the Service should be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional. If you are struggling with your health or your relationship with food, please reach out to a healthcare professional.
4. Your account and age
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping access to it secure. You may delete your account at any time — see our Support page for how.
5. Subscriptions
Some features of Viklia may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are purchased and managed through your Apple ID, and billing, renewal and refunds are handled by Apple under their terms. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your device settings: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, texts, graphics and software, belongs to PTAH or its licensors and is protected by law. The content you add to your diary — photos, notes, entries — remains yours; you grant us only the rights needed to operate the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service: do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, do not use it to harm others, and do not use it in violation of applicable law.
8. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PTAH is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes to the Service and these Terms
The Service is under active development; features may change. We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you — for example, in the app or by email. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Disputes are resolved by the competent courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence provide otherwise.
